Cristiane Villela-Nogueira, M.D.
Dr. Villela-Nogueira is a hepatologist at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, based at Hospital Universitário Clementino Fraga Filho. She serves as Full Professor in the Faculty of Medicine at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), Full Professor in the UFRJ Post Graduate Program in Medical Clinic and Endocrinology, and Level 1B Researcher at the Brazilian National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq, Brazil). She is also a member of the Global NASH/MASH Council. She has an extensive publication record in MASLD, viral hepatitis, and liver fibrosis, and coordinates Brazilian site activities for STELLA.
